The Citizen Woman project opens its new room at the Museum of Tomorrow this Thursday (19/08). Training workshops are offered at the space and, at the opening, the Cell Phone Photography for Entrepreneurs class will begin. The classes will be taught by volunteer Ana Bia Novais, who will give practical tips on lighting, editing and other techniques for those who need to obtain good images of their products and, thus, boost sales.

Another new feature is that, starting this Thursday, registration for the free workshops offered in the Mulher Cidadã rooms can be done by calling Central 1746, by phone, on the website (www.1746.rio) and WhatsApp (21 3460-1746). The initiative is a partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Government and Public Integrity, which also provides information on these channels about the support network for women in situations of violence and reporting services for harassment on public transport and obstetric violence.

The room at the Museum of Tomorrow is the third to open in the city, which already has units in Vila Olímpica Clara Nunes, in Acari, and in the Miécimo da Silva Sports Center, in Campo Grande. The project is an initiative of the Special Secretariat for Women's Policies and Promotion, and the new space has a partnership with the Municipal Secretariat for Culture and support from the Subprefecture of the Center.

Until September, the museum room will also offer writing workshops focused on the Enem and financial organization to boost women's autonomy. All classes will be taught by volunteers.
