Women's Secretariat closes the 2nd Public Consultation on women in Rio, this Saturday

The second Public Consultation of the Map of Women in Rio de Janeiro ends this Saturday, the 23rd. The research is being carried out by the Special Secretariat for Policies and Promotion of Women, of the City of Rio de Janeiro, and aims to understand all aspects of the lives of the more than 3,6 million women who live in the capital in order to build new public policies that are appropriate for diversity.

The focus of this stage is the daily lives of black, trans women from the city's suburbs and outskirts. So far, around 1.400 women have responded to the questionnaire. Residents or women who travel through Rio can participate by quickly completing the form available on the website, using a computer, tablet or cell phone. link.

Women without access to the internet or computers who are interested in participating in the research can go to the Casas da Mulher Carioca in Madureira or Realengo. These facilities of the Secretariat have computers with internet access available for consultation. The same service is also offered at the Casa das Mulheres da Maré.
