The Rio de Janeiro Municipal Health Department will continue the multi-vaccination campaign for children and adolescents under 15 years of age until November 8th throughout the city. Started on October 6th and previously scheduled to end on October 31st, the campaign has been extended to give parents another opportunity to update their children's vaccination records. To date, 152,4 doses of the offered vaccines have been administered to the target population, and more than 100 vaccination records have been evaluated by health teams.

The vaccines available are against hepatitis A, HPV, influenza, COVID-19, BCG, hepatitis B, pentavalent, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), varicella, ACWY, pneumococcal 10, meningococcal C, DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis), yellow fever, rotavirus, among others. The campaign also gives adults the chance to get vaccinated against yellow fever.

This Friday (31), vaccination can be done at the three Super Centro Carioca de Vacinação units — Botafogo (Rua General Severiano, 91), Zona Oeste (at ParkShoppingCampoGrande) and Zona Norte (at Shopping Nova América, in Del Castilho). In Botafogo, it is open from 8 am to 22 pm, while the other two units follow the shopping malls' hours.

Due to the optional holiday commemorating Public Servant's Day, family clinics and municipal health centers will exceptionally be closed this Friday.
