The Christmas spirit arrived at the Mariska Ribeiro Women's Hospital (HMMR) in Bangu. On Wednesday (10/12), Santa Claus toured the unit to bring joy, hope and gifts to the mothers and their babies hospitalized there.

The families of the hospitalized children, who receive interdisciplinary care from the Integrated Care Unit for High-Risk Newborns (NAIRR) team at the hospital, celebrated the arrival of Santa Claus. The unit prepared in great style and decorated its facilities with Christmas ornaments. Snacks were made to make the environment even more welcoming and festive.

– The action brought happiness, warmth, and reinforced the unit's commitment to comprehensive care for patients and their families. It is these small gestures that transform the hospital routine, easing the burden of hospitalization. We collected gifts, donated by our employees, making this an unforgettable day – said Vivian Folly, director of the Mariska Ribeiro Women's Hospital.
