City Hall advances in opening digital processes

O Processo.rio, the City Hall's electronic process system, now allows integration with FINCON, the municipal financial and accounting system. Starting this week, all departments will be able to use the new Processo.rio model to open processes such as bidding waivers, bidding by auction and contracting by non-competitiveness. Soon, everyone will also be able to open digital invoice payment processes through the system, which is already available for the Department of Education, the City Attorney General's Office and Indirect Administration departments (such as the Municipal Guard, Previ-Rio, Comlurb, Rio-Águas, among others).

With this, the City Hall is integrating the many connected systems and implementing digital transformation, seeking greater agility in the processing of administrative processes and productivity in public management. The documents generated digitally from this new functionality also result in savings in paper, printing, transportation and storage, representing a significant gain in efficiency in the work of the City Hall departments.

The project is led by the team from the Subsecretariat of Transparency and Digital Government, which belongs to the Secretariat of Government and Public Integrity (Segovi), and developed by IplanRio, the municipal company responsible for Information and Communication Technology resources in Rio de Janeiro.

This new model will be useful whenever it is necessary to inform a SICOP number in FINCON, for example for settlements, whether for invoice or SDP, in material or service contracting processes at the time of issuing the allocation reservation.
