Free registration and makeup at the farewell to carnival

On International Women's Day, working women will be able to paint themselves as "powerful". Thanks to a partnership between the Rio de Janeiro State Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) and Casa Nails, the partygoers who will participate in the singer Anitta's bloco in downtown Rio this Saturday (the 8th) will receive makeup and foot spas.

The “Trabalha Rio da Folia 8M” will be ready from 7am, near Praça da Candelária, for those who want to register their resume, ask questions about work, get free makeup, eyebrows, eyelashes or even a foot spa. From the Anitta block, the SMTE team will head to the Quizomba block, in Lapa, and Bafafá block, in Laranjeiras.

Casa Nails has already offered several courses in partnership with SMTE. And now it has joined the department's campaign for International Women's Day. According to the municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Manoel Vieira, the idea is to bring services and entertainment to women this Saturday, March 8.

– Considering the importance of the female workforce and the importance of valuing women in predominantly male work environments, we created Trabalha Rio da Folia 8M and also an entrepreneurship project exclusively for this audience. It will soon be presented to female workers – explains Manoel Vieira.
