How can we increase the number of jobs available in Rio? Which professionals are most sought after by the market today? How can we further strengthen ties between entrepreneurs and the City of Rio? These and other topics will be discussed next Wednesday (November 29), starting at 11:17 p.m., at Shopping Ilha Plaza, on Ilha do Governador, in the new edition of Rodas Cariocas.

The itinerant program of the Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income (SMTE) seeks to establish bridges between local entrepreneurship and the municipal government. Anyone wishing to participate in the meeting must fill out the form. It is available on the secretariat's website and Instagram (@trabalha.rio).

– By listening to local businesspeople, we intend to establish a solid and collaborative partnership with companies, identifying the demands of the job market – explained the Secretary of Labor and Income, Everton Gomes, adding that, based on this dialogue, SMTE will direct professional qualification courses from Rio+Cursos to the region that are aligned with the needs of businesspeople and traders.

During the meeting, SMTE services that can make a difference in the success of business activities will also be presented, such as Empreenda.Rio, a training cycle that offers courses on entrepreneurship, business management and digital marketing.

In July, Rodas Cariocas was in Lapa and, in September, in Méier. The idea is to take the program to other neighborhoods to listen to the city's entrepreneurs and establish an ongoing dialogue with them.
