City Hall captures 444 job vacancies

The Rio Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) has identified more than 440 job openings this week. To apply for these positions, interested parties must send their resume to the email vacancies.smte@gmail.com or go to one of the municipal employment centers, which reopened earlier this year (Tijuca, at Rua Camaragibe, 25; and Jacarepaguá, at Avenida Geremário Dantas, 1400 – room 102). Of the 444 opportunities made available by the Secretariat, 141 are exclusively for people with disabilities and many of them do not require experience.

RIVER SHAPE

With the aim of training the population for the job market, the SMTE has been opening classes for training courses. Registrations are made online and the announcements are made via the Department's social networks. Last Thursday (17), two classes received their certificates of completion of the Forma Rio course, the Department's training program. In total, 140 women were trained and 20 have already been referred for job interviews. In addition to Forma Rio, the Department continues to offer vacancies for free online courses, through the Geração Crescer Project platform. There are 60 thousand vacancies, of which more than 17 thousand have already been filled. These are courses in IT Tracks, Introduction to Programming, Data Career, Software Dev., Career in Artificial Intelligence and Career Tracks in Linkedin Learning, English, Productivity, Communication and Expression, Financial Education, Digital Culture and Quality of Life and Work. The Crescer Institute has the support of Itaú and Microsoft and also helps with employability, directing people to job vacancies
