- City Hall opens another Empreenda.Rio Station in the Center
The Rio City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Labor and Income, opened this Wednesday (07/02) the third unit of the Estação Empreenda.Rio program, which provides guidance and training for city residents in entrepreneurship. The new support point for those who wish to improve or open their own business is located at the Integrated Center for Care for People with Disabilities (CIAD), at Avenida Presidente Vargas 1.997.
During the inauguration of the new unit, 25 students who graduated from the Digital Marketing course received their certificates from the hands of the municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Everton Gomes, and Eduardo Magalhães, coordinator of the regional office of the Center and South Zone of Sebrae Rio (partner of the initiative) and Leandro Marinho, service manager of the same institution.
Everton Gomes highlighted the importance of ongoing training, one of the main objectives of Estação Empreenda.Rio units.
– The challenges of the new world of work require constant improvement to deal with the challenges of new technologies, which close jobs at the same time as they offer opportunities – he pointed out, remembering the importance of a Digital Marketing course so that entrepreneurs can reach their clientele.
The challenge of putting into practice the content learned in the course has already begun among the certified students today. Dayse Ramos, 62, and Teresa Alice Moradillo, 58, are part of the Mulheres Brilhantes collective, which brings together 200 entrepreneurs. Retired from their activities as designers and hospital hotel managers, respectively, they now want to increase sales with Digital Marketing techniques.
– The course helps me improve my Instagram, promote my brand, and reach the public to sell my product – explains Teresa, who works in the confectionery industry.
– I gained breadth in the digital area to reach my clients in a more professional way. The course came to shed light on this, it was very useful and will be even more so when I start applying the learnings I gained here – adds Dayse, who makes preserves and does creative sewing.
In addition to the Empreenda.Rio Station at CIAD, there are units on Governador Island (Estrada do Dendê 2.080) and in Campo de Santana (Praça da República 139).
