Quality in Concierge Services: registration for new course is now open

Doormen and janitors in Rio have a new opportunity to gain professional qualifications. The Department of Labor and Income, in partnership with the Union of Companies for the Purchase, Sale, Rental and Management of Real Estate and Residential and Commercial Condominiums throughout the State of Rio (Secovi Rio), has already opened registrations for the fifth class of the Quality in Doorman Services course.

The free course will be held on June 10, 11 and 12, from 9 am to 13 pm, at the Santa Cruz Workers' Center, located at Rua Lopes de Moura, 58. Those who want to take the classes should hurry, as there are only 30 places available. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and do not need to have any experience. – Qualification is essential, especially in view of the growing changes in the job market. Secovi Rio has been a partner of the department, and this new course is the result of a collective effort to professionalize workers in the area – pointed out the Secretary of Labor and Income, Everton Gomes.

The course covers, among other topics, the duties and responsibilities of a doorman, the precautions that must be taken in relation to security and how to provide quality service, including for older residents.

Currently, Secovi Rio represents more than 32 condominiums in the city of Rio de Janeiro and more than five thousand administrators and real estate agencies. Through its corporate university, the institution is a reference in training courses for professionals in the real estate market, including condominium managers, doormen, concierges, janitors, security guards, etc.
