Rio has 1.245 job openings

Rio City Hall released this Monday (14.04), through the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE), the list of 1.245 job openings in different neighborhoods of the city. Of these opportunities, 218 are for people with disabilities.

This week, there are 36 vacancies for domestic workers, 16 for nannies and 10 for cooks, with salaries of up to R$5.500. And, for those who live in Taquara, there is a vacancy for a janitor, with a salary of R$3.219,22. It is necessary to have completed high school and six months of experience.

The list also includes 120 opportunities for merchandise replenishment; 85 for general services assistants; 70 for attendants in different businesses and 65 for cashiers, among many other possibilities.

“In the last 4.970 days, we have created 107 job openings. This is 2024% more than in the same period in 6.754. And we have referred 38 professionals to selection processes. This is 2.735% more than last year. And there is more: the Trabalha Rio program provided 76 services. In other words, XNUMX% more than in the same period last year”, says Manoel Vieira, municipal secretary of Labor and Income.

For those looking for an internship, there are vacancies for those studying Administration (9); Letters/Portuguese/English (5); Pedagogy (4); Marketing (2); Computer Science (2); Accounting (3); Occupational Safety Technician (2); Architecture (1); Tourism (1); Communication (1); Advertising (1); Law (1); Nutrition (1); Chemistry Technician (1); Electronics Technician (1) and Information Technology (1).

Important: The Municipal Department of Labor and Income receives the list of vacancies from companies with the necessary requirements for hiring defined by the companies. According to the vacancy profile, the SMTE applies the necessary filters to select the people who meet all the criteria and forwards them to the companies.

There are three types of selection processes: resumes (when the partner company requests the person's resume to analyze, and then make contact with them); link (when the partner company provides the link to the platform on which its vacancy is registered for the person to fill out and apply for the vacancy); and in-person interview (when the partner company schedules a date and time for the in-person interview with the candidate).

People without internet access can register in person at one of the seven Workers' Centers, at the following addresses: Centro (Av. Presidente Vargas, 1.997, at CIAD); Campo Grande (Rua Coxilha, s/nº); Engenho Novo (Rua Vinte Quatro de Maio, 931); Ilha do Governador (Estrada do Dendê, 2.080); Jacarepaguá (Av. Geremário Dantas, 1.400, rooms 247 and 248); Santa Cruz (Rua Lopes de Moura, 58); and Tijuca (Rua Camaragibe, 25). The centers are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm.

Candidates must bring ID, CPF, PIS and resume to register.
