Workers will be able to register their CVs in the SMTE job opportunities database - Roberto Moreyra/SMTE The Trabalha Rio program, a mobile initiative of the Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income (SMTE) that publicizes job openings, will be in the neighborhoods of Ricardo de Albuquerque, Inhoaíba, and Barra Olímpica from January 26th to 30th to serve the population. A program van will offer interested individuals the opportunity to register their resumes in the secretariat's job bank and schedule job interviews quickly and efficiently.
On Monday (January 26th), the van will offer the program's services to residents of Ricardo de Albuquerque, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Cozinha Comunitária Carioca Janelas do Futuro, located at Rua Embuzeiro, 208. On Tuesday (January 27th), the Trabalha Rio mobile unit will be available to the population of Inhoaíba, from 9 am to 2 pm, at Avenida Cesário de Melo, 6.852, in Parque Oeste. The following day (January 28th), the program team will return to Inhoaíba, from 10 am to 2 pm, to assist those interested in job openings, at the Cozinha Comunitária Carioca Cosmos, at Estrada do Campinho, 4.700. Trabalha Rio will conclude its itinerary for the week on Friday (January 30th), at Parque Rita Lee, at Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno, 3.401, in Barra Olímpica. The program's van will be available to residents from 9 AM to 2 PM.
– We are closing the first month of the year with mobile service in important neighborhoods of the city, providing the population with ease and convenience in using the services offered by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, through the SMTE (Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income). Those who live in these neighborhoods and are looking for work can take advantage of the opportunity to register their resumes, schedule interviews and start 2026 with their first or a new professional opportunity – recommended the acting municipal undersecretary of Labor and Income, Florentino Cerqueira Azevedo.
