Trabalha Rio will have a service station at the Rio de Janeiro Trans and Transvestite March, in Candelária

The service station will be open from 12pm to 16pm - Disclosure Transvestites and transsexuals who are looking for a job opportunity will be able to register their resumes next Friday (17/11), in Candelária. The Trabalha Rio program, from the Rio Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE), will have a service point at the Rio de Janeiro Trans and Transvestite March, from 12 pm to 16 pm, in the Center.
– The department supports diversity and inclusion through its programs. In partnership with Grupo Arco Íris, for example, every Friday courses aimed at the LGBTQIA+ public are held in downtown Rio – explained the municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Everton Gomes.
With the theme “For the right to dream of new futures,” the second Trans and Transvestite March of Rio de Janeiro is scheduled for 14 p.m. in Candelária. Some of the group’s demands this year are: access and maintenance of trans and transvestite people in educational institutions, health care, and the creation of specific public policies to guarantee the safety of the community. After gathering in Candelária, the transvestites and transsexuals will continue their march along Avenida Rio Branco towards Cinelândia, where a show will be held.
