The Trabalha Rio van is now ready to take the team from the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) to register resumes and forward them to job openings for beneficiaries of the Alimento Duplo Community Kitchen, located at Rua Carlos Seidl, 1.306 – Praça Ladeira dos Funcionários, in Caju. The service will be held next Monday (August 18th), from 8 am to 10 pm.

On Tuesday (19/8), the SMTE team will be on hand at the Kwe Bororó Community Kitchen, at Rua Sacadura Cabral, 359, in Saúde. And, on Wednesday (20/8), at Rua Joaquim de Queiroz, 62, in Ramos. On Friday (22/8), it will be the turn of the residents of Morro do Telégrafo, in Mangueira, to receive the service, at Rua General Bento Ribeiro, 01. All three actions will be carried out from 10 am to 14 pm.

"We've been trying to bring the program to different neighborhoods and communities. It's important to remember that unemployed people often don't have the resources to travel around the city, whether to submit a resume or even be referred for a job interview," said Manoel Vieira, Municipal Secretary of Labor and Income.

In addition to ID and CPF, those interested in registering in the SMTE job bank must bring their work permit, PIS (Social Security Institute) and resume to the service locations. Those unable to attend the mobile events can register at the bank.

People without internet access can register in person at the SMTE job bank at one of the seven Workers' Central offices at the following addresses: Centro (Presidente Vargas Avenue, 1.997, at CIAD); Campo Grande (Coxilha Street, s/nº); Engenho Novo (Vinte Quatro de Maio Street, 931); Governador Island (Dendê Road, 2.080); Jacarepaguá (Geremário Dantas Avenue, 1.400, rooms 248 and 268); Santa Cruz (Lopes de Moura Street, 58) and Tijuca (Camaragibe Street, 25). The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 8:16 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

Trabalha Rio's calendar of activities can be followed at website and on the secretariat’s Instagram (@trabalho.rio).
