Program will register and refer professionals to job openings - Roberto Moreyra/SMTE

Trabalha Rio will be visiting four neighborhoods this week. The first stop of the program to register resumes and refer professionals to job openings at partner companies of the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) will be at Avenida Dom Helder Câmara, 1.184, in Manguinhos, this Tuesday (6/5). On Wednesday (7/5), the program will be taken to Praça Saenz Peña, in Tijuca. During the event, also from 9 am to 14 pm, in conjunction with the Municipal Department of Government Coordination (SMCG), in partnership with Central 1746, several services from the City of Rio will be offered.

On the 8th, the Trabalha Rio van will head to the Madureira Regional Forum. At Rua Ernani Cardoso, 152, in Cascadura, it will be from 10 am to 16 pm serving workers who are looking for a job. On Friday (9/5), Trabalha Rio will participate, from 9 am to 14 pm, in an action in conjunction with SMCG, in partnership with Central 1746, at Rua Marmiari, 649, in Bangu.

– Trabalha Rio brings together professionals looking for work and companies that have job openings in our system. We have significantly increased the number of referrals for job interviews, including during actions in partnership with other departments – explained the municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Manoel Vieira.

Anyone who cannot attend the program's itinerant activities can register their resume at opportunity bank from the Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income.

People without access to the network can also register in person at one of the seven offices of the Workers' Central, at the following addresses: Centro (Av. Presidente Vargas, 1.997, at CIAD); Campo Grande (Rua Coxilha, s/nº); Engenho Novo (Rua Vinte Quatro de Maio, 931); Ilha do Governador (Estrada do Dendê, 2.080); Jacarepaguá (Av. Geremário Dantas, 1.400, rooms 248 and 268); Santa Cruz (Rua Lopes de Moura, 58) and Tijuca (Rua Camaragibe, 25). The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm.

Candidates must bring their ID, CPF, PIS and resume to register. People with disabilities can send their resume to the email vagaspcd.smte@gmail.com or go to the Center for Care for People with Disabilities (CIAD), a reference in the search and offer of employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the city, in the Center (Av.
